alright, it is NOT usual to go kissing people as a greeting in america (mizuki/reixi is from america i'm pretty sure, she is in the manga not so sure about this drama).Infact it's actually pretty strange and someone who does do that would probably get slapped.

the kiss was HOT! haha! even rui xi didn't respond, still it's awesome! you can feel their chemistry! it was pretty normal that rui xi would react that way (scream and punch the guy) since she's taken aback but this was really great! ChunElla FTW!

I think Ella was crying because she imagined her first kiss to be with a person she liked and known for a long time, where they would've been already dating and not a first kiss wherein the guy is under the influence of alcohol. I mean a girl's first kiss is special so it has to come at perfect timing: romantic and blissful. Not drunk and unprepared.
