I have a 92 stripped of everything but the essentials and It has started in 5 degree weather. Frost everywhere. 5 foot of snow. Actually the frost was so bad. It took me ten minutes to scrape it off the windows. It sure did start the first time. and It has never NOT started for me before. Unless i forget to turn the lights off the night before lol

Haw Haw, you got me there.... But what else can you do on a cold morning when you are a schlubb like me and have to go to work in a few hours?

On a cold morning like this, fuel injection and computer control are a good thing! I liked seeing the woodburning stove too.

Yes, I love fuel injection. Its fairly reliable and they almost always start. Your 78 Mercury gets hard to start at about 40 right? I remember my parents had a 1984 ford ltd midsize with a carb and it was problematic. However thier 78 pontiac lemans always started even in -10 degrees.
