@Hangargal It's a civilian version of the P-3 Orion navy patrol airplane.

I often wonder who this song is about. Another great unrequited love song, right up there with September Gurls

Are there any aircraft enthusiasts out there who can recognize what make/model the airplane is that George is decending from around 4:00?

The guy who wrote Something, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps was more than just a water fetcher for the Beatles. The fact was he was underestimated by both John and Paul, something both me admitted as their biggest mistake - check out what Lennon said about Harrison's playing on the Imagine album.
Don't get me wrong, Lennon and McCartney are the center of the Beatles, perhaps the greatest song writing duo in pop music, but lets give George his due.

I don't think I really need to explain anything to some fool that names himself after a communist murderer, but the fact is George Harrison did more to save more people from starvation and squalor than you or I ever will, without any prompting. He brought social consciousness to people through his music, more than your hero, the murdering pervert, Che Guevara ever did. He created the benefit concert, brought it to a new level and helped millions of people needing help. What have you done?

It's called opinions, people, geez. Some people think his music is horrible, some people worship it. Not one person is right over the other.
He's passed on, what's done is done, just listen to the music. =)

jimraw - My goodness. This word "genius" seems to be everywhere!

Seems like EVERYONE these days is a "genius".

Look, let's get this straight: Beethoven was a "genius". Mozart was a "genius". John Lennon was a "genius". George Harrison fetched water for the Beatles. Got it?

2008little- Sorry to be the one to tell you this. On the guitar, George seldom had his own ideas. Often, George was TOLD what to play. Even then, John or Paul would often have to grab his guitar and SHOW him what they wanted.

As for some of their more innovative licks of power chords, these were almost never George's ideas. George Martin was responsible for the "Hard Day's Night" intro. John was responsible for "I Feel Fine" intro. Paul was responsible for Sgt. Peper's intro. Etc. etc.
