i'll say this and leave it be,anyone who is young or foolish enough to use terms like "pop punk" obviously isnt old enough or smart enough to have listened to the ramones,the clash,the sex pistols,the buzzcocks...need i go on? treble charger were,for a brief shining moment a great band reguardless of genre.

@evilsnakes1 I may not have been there but it doesn't mean i can't have an opinion. I also listen to a lot of hard-core punk from the 70's and 80's. Bands like The Exploited, The Casualties, GBH, Blitz, etc. They're classified as punk, especial compared to the punk we have now like simple plan. That stuff is what i could see being called soft or pre-teen pop. They're fans are teens and adults, we listened to them when we were kids, but we're grown up now, and still listen now they're gone.

And so now Bill continues to make quality music and plays with great bands such as Broken Social Scene, and Nori hosts on Much Music, bring us Can-Con exploiting shit like Stereos and Hedley. In fact, the only reason TC became the "success" it did was because of Can-Con, so once it packed up no-one even noticed. I'm amazed you even know who they are.

The one thing I do have to give him credit for is early day Sum 41, and, amazingly, he wasn't responsible for Underclass Hero.

"punk" never. ultra-poppy "punk" wannabe's, yes. What you need you need to understand is that you are a young teenager and so you were not there, or if you were, you have the memories of a little kid. That is a fact. You have absolutely no connection with them from there pre-teen pop days. I do. I had their first album. When they did an absolute flip on their style, most of their fans said "wtf is this", and they were replaced by little kids, and so they made music for little kids.
