First shown on Channel 4 in the UK in 2000, this is a somewhat tongue in cheek look at the history of the Eurovision Song Contest up until 1999. Presented by Harry Hill.

Part 4 looks at the Netehrlands and Luxembourg, and includes interviews with Maggie Macneal, Corry Brokken, Sandra Reemer, Nana Mouskouri and Baccara.

How do they calculate these points? Also, how on earth is 4th place a 'flat-as-a-pancake' result? Seems to me as though the commentator thinks that anything but winning contention is a bad result. How sad.

I think the 1972 Luxembourg rules should have been applied to all Eurovision performances: 'Do not applaud or you will be shot by security forces'.

It turns out that out of 38 entries and many more singers, only 5 were Luxembourgish.

As silly it was, it's also terribly catchy, so the 9th place isn't so remarkable to me.
