First shown on Channel 4 in the UK in 2000, this is a somewhat tongue in cheek look at the history of the Eurovision Song Contest up until 1999. Presented by Harry Hill.

Part 4 looks at the Netehrlands and Luxembourg, and includes interviews with Maggie Macneal, Corry Brokken, Sandra Reemer, Nana Mouskouri and Baccara.

    Im Colombian :)

  • @jsra54 He said "you can forgive them that." He means that you can forgive them that they have singers who are not from luxembourg because its a small country.

  • le papa pingouin is the best example of what eurovision can produce...

  • How do they calculate these points? Also, how on earth is 4th place a 'flat-as-a-pancake' result? Seems to me as though the commentator thinks that anything but winning contention is a bad result. How sad.

  • @koksy Thank you very much!

  • I think the 1972 Luxembourg rules should have been applied to all Eurovision performances: 'Do not applaud or you will be shot by security forces'.

  • It turns out that out of 38 entries and many more singers, only 5 were Luxembourgish.

  • @setheurovision94 I think as of today, winning should be our prime ambition again. I do agree with the English then.

  • lovely funny video , sandra reemer is still amazing

  • Look at a map, Luxembourg is stuck is the middle

    of nowhere

  • As silly it was, it's also terribly catchy, so the 9th place isn't so remarkable to me.
