I'm playing Renato Vasconcellos's "Invitation Note" on my WX5.

The BC (Breath Control) data from the WX5 is sent through a Yamaha MEP4 Event Processor to convert the data stream to Velocity / Volume data to make it work better with the Yamaha MOTIF-RACK ES Synth.

The Synth and the Background Track are mixed in Cakewalk SONAR 7 Producer, and then the video is added in Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12.

The background is from Jamey Aebersold Volume 124: Brazilian Jazz.

I hope you like it!

  • Great! What voice you used? It sound very much like a real flute. I cant find any sound that match it in my VL70. Pls enlighten.

  • It's the "C Flute" patch in my Yamaha MOTIF-ES Rack, not the VL70m.

  • Unfortunately, I had to delete the older video because the audio level was too low. Hopefully Renato will post new comments. :)
