oh yh actually..now i remember a thing on the news about illegal puppy farms..and im sure pets at home arnt exactly free of guilt in that area either.

rosydonut, unfortunately, we do have puppy mills and pet factories in the UK. Have you seen the BBC program, an expose of the commercial breeding industry in England? Watch it and weep. The big English dog show is no longer going to be televised because of this investigative report. Google it, it's a fascinating program about the horrors going on in England, where I am from.

One by one they fall. Congrats everyone. Whether it be through shelters or through mixed or pure breed rescue groups, adoption is the choice. The misery that buying enables is beyond comprehension for most. ADOPT DON'T SHOP.
