if you want to know the real reason why taxes are voluntary, you must read fedzone11. One of the main reasons it is voluntary, is because there is no federal statute that says there is a liability for taxes in title 26 subtitle a, read it for your self. I don't pay taxes anymore and the company I work for has me listed as exempt.
