AL Is wrong Cf L's aren't really better for the environment they can be in limited circumstances-But the cost of manufacture-- energy and raw materials offset much of their benefits-- there aren't magic-- they produce more light and less heat-- great in a hot climate!-- but the heat losses are recouped in many ways-- here in Minn the heat losses help heat the house for 9 months making it possible to leave the furnace off till late Oct AND After mid April

mercury is never better for the environment it contaminates the ground water and Albore is never really interested in saving the earth only about how he can trick everyone into making him more money. LED lights are a lot more efficient than compact florescent bulbs. So buy LED bulbs.
