yr computer specs and card is probably shit no game ever has that i used to have a 6200 and i played oblivion and the same happend and when i upgraded to a 7600 it works great

You'r wrong. My graphic card is 8600gt, and it works great on highest details. This happened because of in game bug, not my computer.

And what settings are you running this on because i tried this and it didnt happen to me..im thinking that it maybe doesnt like ur video card.

yea u can do this on 360 version on act one with the troika u basicaly do the same thing

Well, you're wrong about the drivers. If your video drivers are out of date, it may run the game, but you may run into glitches like this if it doesn't properly render what's happening on the screen. For example, for Neverwinter Nights, it works fine on my XP machine, but the Vista drivers make my guy look like Silver Surfer (no features, all silver and metallic).
