SIORA takes songs from many different countries and languages and transforms them through the language of jazz. This is a traditional Andean tune from the Jujuy region of Northern Argentina--arranged by Dan Kleiman with an Afro-Cuban rhythm and sung by multi-lingual vocalist Phyllis Chapell in Spanish. Check out the trades between special guest artists Ralph Bowen (sax) and Grammy-winner Dave Valentin (flute) at the end of this video excerpt from the Sunset Jazz Concert Series!

Hola, soy de Jujuy.
I love this song. My grandfather sang this song when I was a child. Many works such as "Viva Jujuy" remain forever in time.
Very good adaptation, congratulations to everyone.
