what settings did you use? thanks(:

Would you say the difference between the two cameras for night shots is a night and day difference? (no pun intended!)

callarmedia, what settings on your intervalometer did you use?
Great work!

how do you avoid the motion blur on the stars??? i have been trying to figure that out for a few days now. check out my timelapse clip.

@ShoelessDan01, no this was not regular video. The stars do not move that fast in the sky. This is called a time lapse where you take several pictures back to back and then bring them together in post to create a video.
Yes, I would recommend the camera to anyone wanting professional quality images and HD video footage. Get the Canon Rebel T2i if you don't have the money for the 7D. I've posted several other videos that I shot of my 7D on my channel.
How would you compare the 7D to the 5D Mark II specifically for night time shots...any experience with the 5D MKII?
I'm on the fence now on whether to purchase the 7D or the 5d MKII

@wouldyouohwait.... I would definitely choose the 5DmkII over the 7D for night time timelapses. We do have experience with the 5DmkII. If your budget allows, purchase the 5DmkII.

Nice video....that 7D does a great job...I use a T1i and have been pleased with it so far....just curious what was the time lapse between individual images? Did u use a remote to avoid vibration?

@wwilliams2 Yes, I used a remote. Works wonderfully.
