Entry for AJ rafaels contest "across the sea"

Life is a journey and sometimes it takes us to the sky and other times across the sea.

new song written on the 17th of march.
i made some mistakes but oh well.



We are all made of stars.
we are all made of stars, thats who we are, observing the moonshine
silver on our faces, changing places, skipping between lines
walking down roads, having all we know, thrown into the skies
clouds gathering, their rain washing, traces of our time.

So what are we waiting for?

spiders on the ceiling, leaving our heads realing, covering sunlight
burning our backs, reminding of what we lack, believing in flight
our converse on the ground, about to turn upside down if stepped on the cracks
bad luck to be found, yet fortunes speed around, and again  to attack

for the shine of reflections to blind us
for oxygen to run out of air

this is actually a good song and your lyrics are good too but you need to work on the sound mix. the guitar is overpowering your voice. forcing you to almost yell. try strumming softer so you dont have to force your voice to come out on top. you'll find you can gain much more control of your voice as well. i'm not trying to down you, in fact i think your pretty talented . youd be surprised at how much better you could sound if you toned it down. 5 stars for effort though
