Star-Ledger columnist Jerry Izenberg talks about the four Giants Super Bowl quarterbacks, Phil Simms, Jeff Hostetler, Kerry Collins, and Eli Manning. Izenberg is one of the few reporters who have covered every Super Bowl.
If I may add my two cents; I believe that 88% is a great record, but I believe that taking the underdog team to victory, against an unbeaten and overwhelming titan on the last minute of the game surpasses it. I do think that Eli is a better athlete than Simms was, but I think that Simms had less to play with, as he never had a top receiver to throw to. If Eli can claim supremacy if he takes the Giants to Super Bowl victory one more time. And the organization seems to be helping achieve that.
