to be fair why don't we pay everyone in america like a UAW worker

$74 an hour benefits included and mothnly pay even idled from work months on end

whats good for UAW is good for the REST OF US.

Do you know what the CEO's of this country are paid while the workers actually do the work? 300, 400, 500 times more than the workers. I wonder what the CEO's of all the foreign automakers make. I know already and it is not that. UAW did not cripple the automakers. They made the middle class who pays taxes.

UAW is full of bs -if the govt wants to help the workers in the big 3, NOT the fat cat execs or the uaw, let the companies go bankrupt,and instead take the bailout money and pay for the actual working employees to be retrained! if any one of the big 3 goes down it will be the blue collar folks that will get the first pink slips and be out the door-

UAW crippled the automakers with their enormous wages and pensions while making junk cars that the consumer doesn't want, and now they're begging us taxpayers for money.  What a disgrace!

this is the stuff that makes me mad. I do not have anything that will save my job or anything. I pay for my families health care and high bills too. UAW a bureaucratic mess and you need to act now or you are gone. More mass transit and less cars. I had an electric car in 1991 with ittle support for me nearly 20 years later.

Let the free market win and may the best car maker win,,, instead of the Big 3 we will have smaller many makers that are greater than you can even imagine......
