the one with the black stripe is better because its more rugged then the one with out the stripe

my dad bought one new in 1971 it said crop hustler on it. that was one good tractor it had 6500 hours on it before the engine ever had anything done to it

Nice looking tractor. My dad bought a new one in '82 I believe, and I grew up driving it. I'll never forget the sound of that thing running, I could recognize it anywhere. Those look like the 18.,4-28's on the back, am I right? These tractors weren't given much credit for what they could do. It could keep up with our neighbors 4020 all day long, and use less fuel.

@darkninetailedfox There were a couple years that the 185 (and 175) was made with the dark stripe and crop hustler decal, but not all years. This is a very late 185 and I can assure you that the paint and decals on it are the ones that came from the factory, Please do some research before you post about how much you "now".
