  • Loretta Lynn is not only one of my favorite singers, she's also one of my idols. I LOVE HER! I was looking forward to seeing her at the Paramount in Ashland,KY in October, but the day of the concert she was put in the hospital with pneumonia! Now I only have to wait 8 more days!!!!! :D

  • @sparrowhawk72 _Too bad the show was cancelled-

  • Amazing--she looks and sounds great! Reminds me a lot of my grandmother who was from the foothills of North Carolina--country through and through.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Forty years ago I was able to see Loretta for the first time. My Dad knew that I was a fan and he surprised me by getting tickets to see her in Philadelphia. I got back stage and found her dressing room. She graciously came out and signed an LP that I bought. Then I met her eight years later and had more time to chat.

  • Each time I watch Loretta sing "Somebody Somewhere Don't Know What He's Missin' Tonight" I love to see her sweet smile after she sings it. That one moment reminds me of Sissy Spacek when she starred as Loretta in "Coal Miner's Daughter". Loretta's Native American heritage shines brightly. We met her at her ranch back in the 80's and she was so obliging to all of her fans there. Thanks again for this treasure. - Paula

  • this song makes me think of my recently departed grandfather. he used to play this record for me over and over again when i was a little girl. i sure miss him, but the music brings back such great memories.

  • I have always loved Loretta - she's our Kentucky gal. She always looks like a princess and just imagine her wondering back when she married at 13 if she'd have ever thought she'd be country royalty. It couldn't happen to a nicer lady. I loved this song from the first time I heard her recording of it. Thank you for posting. - Paula

  • I think she looks great!! and sounds better than ever! Everyone gets old its called life! Thats what I love about Loretta she is who she is. Nothing phony about her. I dont care how old she is she has more talent in her little finger that most have in there whole body and can still put on a hell of a show!

  • it is hard to think she got old
