one thimg i noticed we]hen they go to a stunt the flyer holds on 2 the bases head and now when i do cheerleading the flyer holds the sholuder but they we still good

Amanda, that is a sad story. I fear that your school is not the only one like that. Kids have no reason to care about their schools anymore. They have become different places than when I was a student (1960's-70's).

Well, yeah... but I am talking about just the girls that were there last year on the team. I don't even think they really had a coach... plus there was only one senior on the team and she was the captain, then she supposidly quit then went back. But anyway... a lot of the girls that were on the squad last year were literally too into their own lives and their friends and such and only cheered when they had to.

The girls may be stuck up, but the change in cheerleading is because of the organizers, not the kids.

Stuck up snobby chicks who are too wrapped up in their own lives to really apply themselves. haha. Witnessed it before.

WOW! I am apart of that's schools 2008 graduating class. haha.

Because of trends, lawsuits and new generations that do not know what can be done.

OMG........I cheered at Chesapeake for 4 years (2001-2005)......We were so awesome then.....I don't know about now! I had no idea that we competed in 83.....That's crazy!!! I LOVE IT!
From Amanda's comments it seems like alot has changed since I cheered....we were never snobby but I guess that's how some girls are!!!

Snobbery is in every generation. The squads that are not snobs are those who have good coaches with character.
