I thought this was well done. I have plenty of guy friends who remind me of the "cowardly" guy. In watching him I felt as though I was watching some of my friends talk to a girl who they have had a crush on for some time, it is painful lol. However this video puts a nice comedic spin on it and the guy wins out in the end giving hope to others. Personally, I did not see a modesty issue. I know other God-honoring girls who would wear a similar outfit to go jogging. I enjoyed watching this. Thanks!

On the clothing issue though: Wearing a bathrobe in broad daylight, dude? Why push the envelope? We girls have a hard enough time figuring out the role of our devalued sexual identity under a patriarchal religious system. Please don't make it any harder for us.

Wow... you keep writing back with more and more pointless arguments! The film makers were NOT trying to make him interested in her only because of her looks. And the tank top she wore does NOT classify as "skimpy" in any way or form. It was an athletic outfit for an athletic girl who happens to jog every morning. period. As for replacing hollywood, I'm not totally sure what you mean. Hollywood will always be hollywood. Maybe christian film makers can just influence it a certain direction.

I think to say that "Most Christian young ladies would not wear that to go jogging in" is a pretty generalizing statement. I do not believe it is bad for a "Christian" girl to wear a tank top. I know many that do and they aren't less holy for it.

The shot of the tummy was not there to give a full reign of our actress's beauty. It was there for color and compositional purposes as stated in my previous comment.

My goal isn't to replace Hollywood. Hollywood knows how to make films. Theres alot we can learn from Hollywood. Granted we should not do something simple because Hollywood does but its important to learn why they do things.

Yes our "sweet, soft fellow" was good for making people laugh. I don't see how he was stupid. In my opinion he was pretty smart because he actually took the time to figure out what "skimpy" clothed girl would like.
