Horatius at the Bridge

Sextus, the exiled Tarquin tyrant, seeks to reconquer Rome with the help of the Etruscan king, Lars Porsina. While workers feverishly attempt to block the only entrance to the city by cutting down the bridge on the river Tiber, Horatius and two bold soldiers attempt to halt the enemy's advance.

All the text is taken directly from Thomas Babington Macaulay's epic poem, "Horatius at the Bridge."
