Barney Frank on the "Public Option"

It's not a secret that Barney Frank is an advocate of single payer. He's been saying so for years.

The American people should STICK TO THE CONSTITUTION!!! Our government has become too large and only continues to fuck over us all. It's high time we get rid of what is not strickly stated in the Constitution and leave the rest up to the free market to decide. You don't need the government to tell you what to do!

According to Obama, there is $74.3/yr in Medicare fraud. Want a good public option? Eliminate the in Medicare fraud. Take the $74.3 billion/yr & buy a $5 million catastrophic health policy with a $3,500 annual deductible for $4,320 premium (what a 63 year old male smoker would pay RETAIL), cover every single of the '40 million uninsured' (which includes illegal aliens) wandering around without coverage, and put the remaining $100.2 billion back in the US Treasury where it all belongs anyway!

I have been scolded by liberal friends all week that single-payer is not the goal of the democrats. I was called paranoid. Is it paranoia to believe what was said yesterday by the democrat chairman of the house banking committee?

Single payer was the goal when this whole debacle started; some in congress are still pushing for it, and Obama is (was) open to it. The public option was the compromise. So much for compromise.

Thanks, single payer advocates, for exposing the real agenda behind the public option. We need to spread this around.
