I think you are an idiot. You are talking smack when your team has not won a title in a century. Edmonds has been an awsome center fielder. He plays hurt and still makes great catches.

I am a baseball fan all around. St. Louis is my favorite baseball team. Over the years I have noticed a few things. Edmonds may have lost a step or two, but it has nothing to do with his catches. He plays shallow. He can dive for those singles, and he has to run a long way for the long ones. Either way, he can make a good catch. He has impressed me.

People are stupid. Any team has stupid fans. I'm a cardinals fan... but Jim Edmonds will always be my favorite player. hands down. He can play on the cubs all he wants. The one game where he single handled beat the cards 2-0 off of 2 home runs was a great game for me... and my team lost. People get traded. People get old. It sucks. But this guy talking is just plain dumb. There is no need for this (or the burning video) to be on youtube in the first place.

Exactly. As you can probably tell, I'm a diehard Cubs fan, HOWEVER, before that, I'm a fan of baseball, and I've liked Edmonds since I first got to see him play. Nothing but respect for what the Cardinals do for baseball (along with teams like the Twins and A's, putting out competitive teams without a truly unimaginable payroll). I've got no problems with the Cards, hell, if they're not playing the Cubs, I WANT them to win... and new Busch Stadium is beautiful.
