I am a Central alumni, and after seeing this footage I can honestly say that the Dist. 150 school board doesnt give a damn about the students. This has nothing to do with the economy but rather a select few individuals in power concerned more about themselves and their wallets, than anyone else. My heart truly goes out to the current students and staff of Woodruff, and the alumni of this institiution as well.The students should be the priority, not the money.

It's difficult to even know where to begin....To the board member who said "It's the economy", let me say NICE TRY! Peoria Schools have been going down hill for YEARS....Not the students, parents or tax payers of Dist. 150 but the administration. Pay yourself much, pay yourself often, misappropriate funds, scandal, lies, personal agendas and ultimately a complete financial and educational collapse.... SHAME ON YOU!
Come on STATE Board of ED. it's time for some heads to roll!

bullshit.. im a senior at woodruff so i dont care so much its getting shut down, however they have NO absolutely NO plans in place on what to do and the reasons for shutting the school down were ridiculous...hinton i really hope you get fired, youve done nothing good as president except bury this district in debt, and now the students have to suffer. whoever is hintons boss please fire him...for the students' sake
