* Cute place but it's on the dark side.

* Whatever happened to renting apts for good & reasonable prices?

* Do people in NY also pay for water & trash when renting studio apts or do the owers pay ?

* There was a time a person can work one job & rent a place of their own. High rents like NY are a good reason why most folks are still living w/their parents or have 3-4 roommates liviing in a very small 1 bedroom apt - rents are ridiculos !

@GimmeKitty, ~ LOL .. too bad NY charges high rents for studio apts. My sister's studio apt cost over $300 a month and she's got a large front yard & lives in high desert CA ... Seattle ROCKS with their rents !

@sbarudzija ..unless youre gonna stay in mahattan all the time, u will need a car..it gets very expensive catching a cab and very time consuming always catching the train..pepol who live in mahattan who dont have cars are probably old heppies....and i bet they are a headache for friends who do have cars..always getting phone calls asking for rides..ther is more to nyc than mahattan..there are 4 other boros...buses and trains dont travel everywer..having a car is a nessecaty for an adult

what people don't understand is you don't spend much time in your apartment when you live in nyc. plus you most likely won't have a car so gas and insurance won't exist. all you need is a place to sleep and it's all good. now in other places most people spend their time at home because its so boring. when there's nothing to do people sit at home. in nyc you just shit, shower, shave and sleep.
