I swear to fuck, Hollywood, if you fuck with this movie I will rain down your throat with hot acid and dissolve your testicles and turn your guts into snakes.
There ain't any words I can use to describe adequately how amazing Jerry Goldsmiths scores are. I'm a Star Trek fan, and I was introduced to his work with the fantastically powerful themes he composed for The Motion Picture. I sat up and started taking notice of OST's because of him. But no matter how much I love his Trek scores and all his other music, it always comes back to Explorers. I hear it and I'm back in my dads garage, screwing around with bits n pieces, trying to build a field machin
There is a that sad moment in the film when the Thunder Road sinks in the pond, and Goldsmiths music is just so heartbreaking. I was disappointed that wasn't on the soundtrack album.
