@mooshimanx I never said I was smarter than anyone, but I am an engineer of 25yrs experience. I have worked in many areas of engineering including the manipulation and welding of tubes. And I can tell you for an absolute fact that the position of the seam of a tube can have a dramatic effect on its ability to be bent/manipulated. Possibly unlike you, my knowledge comes from decades of experience rather than guess work.
@iiredeye It's amazing that you're a much smarter engineer than all the ones employed at shaft companies who say spine alignment is bullshit. Besides, if your argument made any sense, nobody would have been able to hit the ball consistently before 1990. In reality, the average score has not improved much over the years.
@mooshimanx My comment was posted a year ago however my opinion remains the same. I don't know you or anything about you, but I am an engineer and I can safely say that the position of the seam of the tube is critical in certain applications. Do not take my word for it, go get 2 equal lengths of pipe, hold one with the seam against your knee and try to bend it, now try the same with the seam turned 180 degree so it is opposite your knee, you will be amazed at the difference.
@iiredeye That's just snake oil nonsense. You'll notice the happy coincidence that all of the people who claim spine alignment works better are the same people who paid a lot of money for it to be done. Some people just enjoy paying for snake oil because it convinces them everything will work better.
I needed a five wood and ordered one from this place.. I was skeptical at first but it's one of the best clubs in my bag.
