timxirish's Lightly Modded Raidmax Smilodon

A short video showing my modified front door LEDs I soldered in. I chose these RGB chasing LEDs because of my tricolor fans. I also removed the metal bar thing that came preinstalled in the case.. I thought it took up too much space and wasted case window real estate. Halfway through the video you will also see a CMOS reset switch I wired up (I'm an overclocker). Didn't bother to mount it, so it just sits in an empty FDD bay.

My cable management isn't great, but honestly how good can you actually get with that case? I don't mean to belittle it-- With that minor complaint aside, the case has been a dream for me... But due to my new video card and owning 4 HDDs.. I need something that fits components a touch better. So I am upgrading to a Cooler Master Mystique 632S. ^_^

I know a thermaltake one will fit with no issue so long as it's pressed as far back as the tooless locks will allow. Other fan controllers don't stick out much further. I didn't do any modification to the door though.

I should have gotten that instead of the thermaltake honestly. Higher wattage is not something to take for granted. ;)

how did you get the vertical light to change color? the only thing keeping my from upgrading to this case is that i would prefer red case lighting to blue, do you think it would be feasible to also change the color of the "teeth" on the front door?

Hey, what did you do to make the fan controller fit with the case door closed? Because I plan on getting one but I still want to close the door, thanks!
