Over 2 million residents of Southern California, Arizona and Mexico are without power. The weather was blamed and suspected problem in the overhead electrical system?(X class Solar Flare?)
Residents in parts of eastern San Diego County and Yuma, Ariz. endured sweltering temperatures with no air conditioning.
"It's 113 degrees right now outside and 75 in my office," said Yuma city spokesman Greg Hyland, who was sitting in the dark, answering calls.
Niggli said relief was on its way, slowly. He said his 1.4 million customers may be without power until Friday.
He said the utility lost power due to a transmission failure that started at a large switching station in Arizona, where several high-voltage lines come together, although the cause has not been determined.
"I suspect the system was overwhelmed by too many outages in too many places," Niggli said.

  • also Ap knews said that an electric worker took a peace from the generator which couse the power shortage?

  • @racatacha yes I think I read that a worker did something to a monitor? Either way it's a wake up call for the west coast to be prepared.

  • Major solar flares are suppose to hit the earth starting today through the 11th. Do you think maybe they are trying to protect the power grid by turning it off until after this solar event? It is unlikely, but it is a possibility. Since the media, government and corporations don't tell the truth, all we can do is try to figure out the possiblities.

  • @PerceptionModified That is a great theory and makes perfect sense! I read last night they are now blaming it on a person who shut down a monitor!!!!! hmmmmm

  • From my understanding there are 3 power grid's in US - East/West Coast Texas has an exclusive grid, and all three connect in Oklahoma.?

When did Us grid become a part of Mexico>?

Leads me to believe, there is quite a bit of military presence in Baja. Interesting seems like the CA/Mexico border crossing is under testing too.

Wonder if that is a FEMA region? Well, Northern CA, Oregon, Washington, and the Canadian border crossing next, training practices/results are in and forecasted!

  • @look2explore We went into mexico and built a power plant just over the border. They thought they could get away with not having to adhere to pollution control and save money until they got sued and then tried to blame it on mexico!!!!

  • They should have had a 4 pack of bunny energizer batteries.

  • I have a crappy video of it sucks and crappy camera

  • funny thing is i live in the west hahaha and well it was preaty dark above all I heard that someone was actually trying to say that the government was hiding something? But besides that 3 UFO"s where spotted on wensday around pm funny becouse they say it was a plane or helicopter but it was really bright.

  • This was predicted by people studying comet Elenin. It's out-gassing hydrogen cyanide which is a dielectric. This will cause it to store up energy put off by the sun like a giant capacitor. Elenin get to it's closest to the sun, crosses the plane of our orbital, and first appears in the northern hemisphere's skies on 9-11. It could very well draw CMEs toward the earth because of it's excited state. There is precedence that there will be these types of reactions.

  • did any one even notice 3 bright lights on wensday? then the power goes out? and whats more odd these things appear when something bad is about to happen? also they said that a worker took out an important part of the generator thats what i hear from AP knews you let me know if thats true or not?
