The world class education system used to be true until the 60's when the ruling elite realized ppl had become too smart and thus began their ruthless campaign to dumb down the population. Google "dumbing down of america."

The economy doesn't produce anything anymore. Sure, the ex-US brands are still pumping strong, but now they're located abroad meaning their sales are counted as imports not exports subtracting, not adding, to the GDP. Basically, America isn't what it used to be anymore...

@Orphebamus I don't know anyone who can speak 5 languages. It fucking sucks here in the States. Bush passed "No Child Left Behind Act" which is a law that says a certain percentage of high schoolers have to graduate every year. I think 2011 is suppose to be a 95% passing rate. The teachers are curving everyone's grades and dumbing down the education.

Also I'm pissed that American's only learn conventional history, they never learn the whole truth.
