Surely it is under a label of fiction, but give it a thousand years, and harry potter will be a messiah that has saved the world from corruption from the evil whatever the hell his name is. Honesty, and truthfullness come from inside of you, not from a book, and honestly you are a horrible person that would follow a belief that says that I will go to hell simply for not believing, and if you read my og comment right, then you would see I am not on the side of science, they only help a little.

I am on my side. It is up to me to empower myself to become a better man, and a decision made through god on that topic is just as easy as the decision to be a good person. Science doesnt have it right, and doesnt claim to have all the answers, they will come in time. Religion is entirely wrong, and says that it has the answers, which is just a reflection of the stupidity of mans ego, and inability to not be in control. Believe what you want, but the blood is on your hands if your a christian.

ok, first of all, I know nothing of harry potter. I have never read a sentence from one of the books, and I have never finished on of those movies. Second of all, you should probably hold your judgements back The reason most of us have decided atheism is that we have done our research, and I can say I know a helluva lot more about the bible than I do harry potter The christian belief caves in on itself in a fit of hypocrisy, and barbarianism Read deuteronomy if you want to know why I am atheist

furthermore, I believe it is you that needs to do your research. The problem with your belief is that it is blasphemy to question the faith, which is why most of you are just willing to accept the brainwashing that comes from these ridiculous beliefs. Christianity basically copies from other religions that pre-date it almost down to a T. Virgin births, great floods, sacrifice for the better of man, all of these things were in other religions, and even done better in those other beliefs.

So, you can harpe on us atheists as much as you want, but the simple truth is that us atheists are probably more educated in your beliefs than you are. Once you approach the bible, and the concept of god represented in the bible then you will understand. The christian god is nothing but a murdering bully, and of course he came down in a physical representation, just to let us murder him in order for him to forgive the sins in us that he created in us. That doesnt sound backwards as hell to you?
