Pretty much defines the word "clunker". My dad had one in his stereo along with a Fisher receiver and AR speakers. That was all at least grade B equipment back in 1962 or so but when that Garrard shut off my younger siblings would all wake up.

Is that a Type A? I just picked one up and have to clean and lube the mechanisms.
