It's kind of overkill to have that much low end power if it causes the house and all its contents to start buzzing and rattling. Very annoying to listen to the windows shaking when you're trying to enjoy the sensuous sound of the bass (imho) That have been said, who wouldn't want an 18"??? ;-)))

@CVLova its all about the lows! seems to peak between 26-30 hz though. massive window and door flex throughout the house @ these frequencies. I don't give my designs away for free /: I could do up the blueprints again on google sketchup and email them to you for $10.

@BroccoliBrigardist I was meaning to imply that i designed and built the box:) Left the sub building to Fi. The amp is sitting on 2 layers of poly-fill and 3/4'' of memory foam type material. There is almost no amplifier vibration:)
