in 1998 ???? there where no 100 land cruise then ...and in this vid there is one and i no what thay r because we own one and thay where made in 2004.

Thanks for the note, I had to double check the clip then!

I googled the release dates and came back with this......

"In April 1998, the 100 series Land Cruiser was introduced to replace the 8-year-old 80 series. ... These models were only sold in African, Australian and South American markets"

ATM i need to sell my sv6 before i can buy ANOTHER car (lol got a few) but its nice to know i was looking in the right direction, Ive been going to Lerderderg State Park and Wombat State Park in Vic, if you havent been there for a camp before you should go for a couple of days ,(if you live near by lol) its awesome.

@pootang47 G'day mate. You don't need big bucks and all the bling and accesories to get started. An older hilux daihatsu rocky or suzuki sierra are all very capable in they're own right or though the rocky is getting rare and hard to source parts for. Ive had '81, '85', '94 and now a 2007 hilux all stock and yes I've been stuck but never before the cruisers. As for all the accesories always carry a shovel, snap strap and a high- lift jack {it doubles as a hand winch}. Good luck getting into it!

no such thing as good and cheap, pootang. A good set of tires alone will set you back $1200 or more, not including spares. Comes down to what you want to do, where you want to drive and how you want to drive.

i wish i had a 4x4, so i could see more places, camp in better places ect, my poor commodore goes to crazy places, ill get bogged one day, whats a good cheap aussie learning 4x4? i love your vids, its so inspiring to get out there and see more
