This guy committed close to a dozen impeachable offenses. The Justice Department was politicized and Congress has rolled over by then. When crimes like that can go unpunished, the only thing next for a gov't is insolvency.

No alas. The reason is most in Congress made an effort to NOT see any crimes, not look for them and excuse his crimes (Remember, they changed the FISA law AFTER Bush broke the law so he could continue spying)
Not to say all democrats did this. But they were the minority within their own party (and the GOP was totally MIA on this).
