This story saddened me. Sweat Lodge ceremonies can be very healing with the right kind of people. It didn't just sadden me because it was a disgrace to American Indian tradition, but because of the confused desperation of new age yuppies who were suckered into this cult.

Blackwolf is correct, this whole thing is now about money. Amayra Hamilton is complicit in the deaths in those people and Shawna Bowen is a fraud who is exploiting Native American ceremonial practices herself.
