i got a friend that works at suzuki at he told me that you can't change the mode only when the isn't in gear

can somebody tell me what is happening with suzukis and kawasakis ? Its been a long time since they dooesnt even appear in MOto GP. There are only hondas and yamahas and ducatis in first 10 positions , But none suzis and kawas..... Somebody explain me that ! Tanx !

does the engine make a ticking sound? I rode one and it sounded like the cam chain was bad but I've been told that its just how this bike sounds normally?
