  • Hey Telstar10000, you seem pretty knowledgeable about these boys. I know Joe Meek would hum the melodies he had in his head and the band would put it to instruments. In a lot of their final verses and choruses, they would hum or vocalize along with the melody. Was any of that Joe himself?

  • @Essasmusic Sorry, I wouldn't know that.

  • Great video! Apparently that is Tab Martin on bass and not Heinz.

  • Hello snarnok

Yes, Tab Martin was used as a temporary stand-in until Heinz's successor Brian Gregg was appointed. But Brian got sacked after a few months for repeatedly turning up for gigs drunk. His replacement was Ray Randall who is still musically active and performs around his home locality of Yorkshire, UK.

In 1997 Ray and 2 other Tornados, Stuart Taylor and Bryan Irwin got together to make a three track CD.

  • Hi Gmancrap

This tune was originally only available on the soundtrack album "Just for fun". It was never a single. It is currently available on "The Complete Tornados" double CD containing all 55 of their released tracks,

  • I'm loving this sound, this is a hard song to find!
