@Dalit5 so they could get the funding from non-motoring related advertisement and still be impartial, i think they should just do their own thing because it would be great to have something quality to watch in between top gear episodes and if you can achieve that you can achieve anything really.

Great assessment. The guys on US TOp Gear don't know each other--much less like each other very much. And it's too obvious that Tanner Foust thinks he smarter than the other 2--he's not--he's a cheating crybaby. That show sucks.

@crazyboyxx they can, you just don´t bother to see it because it´s not in English, you have for example Grip in Germany, it´s all about English language, like movies and music, tv shows is the same.

Matt Farah, JF and Alex would make an awesome U.S. Top Gear. Or something along those lines. I agree get some buddys to do it at the least. Get those clowns off the current one. Anyways as much as I love top gear UK. i feel its still not perfect. The news is only sometimes good and the star thing is the part i all ways skip. The recent episode with the E30's was boring as hell. Still love it though.

It took the US version the entire season to get to the point of looking like they knew each other & were somewhat friends.

my opinion of top gear being succesful is 9:19 of this video + new supercars = being silly with ur friends and being honest about cars, ultimate show.

Plain and simple.. Top Gear UK took decades to evolve into what it is today. We're all so familiar with it, the American version just looks like they're trying to emmulate the UK show as much as possible. You can't start at the top and try to do exactly what they're doing.
Plus, British comedy and the ridiculous things they do is a reason why people who don't even care about cars watch Top Gear.
And yes, filmography and soundtrack are outstanding.
