@ttimothymurphy They are harrassing the poor people. If airline tickets become more expensive as these people demand, poor people won't be able to afford weekend trips across Europe as they thankfully are able to do now. Rich people won't be bothered at all. And the campaigners are quite well-off themselves actually.

The camp looks groovy and I might be tempted to pretend I believe in AGW just to hang out there.
It's a hippy magnet. Anyone with a cultrually marxist mindset will find it very hard to resist believing in AGW when it allows them to villify the rich, and harrass them for going on trips.

Ok. "Plane Stupid" plan to eliminate all short haul flights and stop aviation advertising. Lets just think about the implications of this. Easyjet and Ryanair will be no more; so I think it is reasonable to say that hundreds of thousands people would lose there jobs not to mention even more people if they put Airbus out of bussiness. And at the the end of it all they will probably only achieve less than 1% CO2 emmisions reduction (and thats just in the UK). Plain stupid!

Fcuking idiots! These morons should protest at the Chinese embassy .... the UK is currently the 5th largest economy in the world and if you closed the UK today China would make up the loss in increased CO2 in UNDER 12 MONTHS!

Right. I have never commented on a Youtube video before, but this man makes me so angry I am compelled to do so. I can now understand how some idiots were brainwashed into invading an active airfield. They are amazingly lucky, armed responce units are on high alert following terrorist attrocities in the US and UK, "Plane Stupid" were lucky not to get shot.

Just goes to show Plane stupid is ruled by retards that are completely uneducated about Aviation in any form. What group could be more stupid than breaking thru the Stansted perimeter fence to put themselves and others in extreme danger?
