@MrDozah As you buy the egg it is unique untill it becomes hatched. But after it becomes hatched it is not unique. You can have more than one in your bags. Just try it by yourself.

@deliprof As of Cataclysm, it's not. These were changed to a 3-day cooldown when patch 4.0.3 hit. (Thus cutting the time required almost in half.)

This video is old. Maybe Blizzard changed the dynamics I am not sure. But at the end of the day this video is completly true.
As you buy the egg it is unique untill it becomes hatched. But after it becomes hatched it is not unique. You can have more than one in your bags. Just try it by yourself.

i got drake from frist egg :) lucky me... and i was in patch 4.2 so u cant have more than 1 egg in inventory

@Astraea70lvl I left the game before 4.2 update. Maybe Blizz changed the dynamic for hatched eggs. I don't know.
