The Swirl Aluminium Chimes
With its wonderful sound and graceful design this outdoor musical instrument is made of twenty-six resonated aluminium chimes in the key of C major, ranging in pitch from soprano to alto. The Swirl incorporates individual resonators for each chime, resulting in a long, full, rich tone.

  • @lithium3fun They are all amazing. Have you ever checked out a catalog called: "Lark in the Morning?" They have some of the strangest musical instruments ever invented by man. I'll bet that these bells are in that catalog.

P.S. I can really relate to your username. LOL

  • @ekocentric No, a glockenspiel has a brighter sound at a higher pitch, and is made with bars made of steel. It is used today in orchestral playing as well as effect in some more popular tunes. (Glockenspiel could also refer to a type of large clock, but that's a different story)

  • cool
