@NazNomad Not to say you're wrong or anything, but I don't thnk they didn't play it for lack of talent. The guitarist plays classical music which is becoming a lost art form in my opinion.

@rutaloot Thank you! I agree. Sometimes people in my classes ask me what I'm listening to and i'm just like The Cure or The Damned, and they say "Is that like some weird grunge rock or emo music?" I'm just like no, they are a band from the time period when music was GOOD."

@rutaloot good for you buddy, I feel sorry for your generation, I was born when this music came out so I am an inborn fan from the start and happy you are doing the choice to pick it up to your ears as well, keep going backward in music, I think you'll find a lot more to love in it! A lot of these bands were influenced by 60's underground garage and mod from the uk music. I'll be more than happy to direct you to some fantastic suggestions.

the offspring version is every bit as good. just cus u make something first doesn't automatically mean ur version is better. look at the sonics with "have love will travel".

@NazNomad I don't think so, little Jimmy. The Offspring version is even better... in my brutal opinion. Plus the only reason I'm even on this video is because I found it while searching for the version that was used in Batman Forever. And a lot of people would agree with me on that.
