It wasn't Vicki's fault...her partner was a shitty clue giver...the clue is "whiskers" and the best she can come up with is a man's stubble after he shaves? Hello! Cats have whiskers too, ya know!

Because Vicki had already said "whiskers", it allows the other player to use that sound in order to lead Vicki to the answer. If she'd done that before Vicki said it, she would've gotten cuckooed.
