If I were to walk into a church and they were playing that degenerate pop and rock crap I would quickly head for the nearest exit. Simply barbaric! Do we really have to dumb down religion to appeal to the lowest common denominator?

@beatnikjd what is it about this song that bothers you? is it the music or the lyrics? because what you're basically saying is that if we changed the back ground music to, lets say, the calm music of an old hymn, you would be okay with it. sure the music is similar to that of an alternative rock song, but does the music change the fact that these lyrics were made to glorify God? does the background music change the fact that there is healing, protection, and salvation in the name of Jesus?

@beatnikjd Well just to let you know, your worship or preference in music to praise God maybe different from ours. Even so that doesn't me we are "dumbing down religion" we praise GOD in our own way and if this drama team wasn't annoitted God wouldn't bless their ministry!!! @beatnikjd excellent comment. I wish we could go back to old time worship. This new garbage comes directly from worldly pop culture, which the word of God makes clear that He hates. Pentecostal music has turned into nothing but hype and entertainment. This is so close to having a dance team I can hardly tell the difference.
