I seriously don't think she was "taking in the moment" it might of been true .. but I just think she got comfortable, and got too confident. Whatever the case her voice is amazing.

You know what.. never mind her screwing up the lyrics. That's not what butchered the song. We all know you have a powerful voice Christina, but you butchered it.. some songs are meant to be sung like that!! Too much..

@Terrencelll that just sounds like an excuse to me. how many singers have sung the national anthem over and over and over again? If it's just because she "zoned out" how come Beyonce or Whitney Houston didn't make a single error in their performances? I'm not hating on her as a person or as a singer, I'm just saying that this was one mess up she shouldn't have made and you really can't disagree with me on that.

Some of you people really overreact...yes it is an important song, but seriously? She's human, I don't care how many times she's performed, we've all made dumb mistakes in our life. I'd like to see the people who have made REALLY stupid mistakes that are talking crap about christina say what their mistakes are. Good thing is, you people aren't famous and aren't in the spotlight, so when a celebrity makes a mistake, BOOM everyone knows about it. I'm sure some of you have made even worse mistakes.
