Jean Michel Jarre Croissy's studio in 1987 in the french television news. Enjoy !
I recorded this film on a VHS 20 years ago. I'm happy to show you now thanks to Youtube !

  • Looks older than 1987, more like 84 as he's working on Zoolook.

If it was 1987 it would be all Roland D-50's and he'd be working on Revolutions.

    Still a cool film.

  • @qube123 No it's 1987 !

  • From the mid 80s on, sampling became popular amongst musicmakers.Think on Front 242, Depeche Mode,The Art of noise. I have the Korg Dss-1 sampler/synthesizer.He was released in 1985.You had some time later in 1989 the Roland W-30 sampling workstation that was very popular and was used by The Prodigy. The sampler is a strong medium. You can use any kind of sound that exist to make music with.Nice work of Jean-Michel what he did with the voices!

  • Mixing dude's haircut is on top of my list 'things I dont miss from the eighties'

  • In 1980s for JMJ the future was already NOW!
