IGN Resistance 2 vs. Gears of War 2 Grudge Match HD

IGN's winner: Resistance 2. THIS IS NOT MY OWN OPINION!

In my opinion, the games are both very good in their own respects. I find the story of the Resistance series to be much more deep and compelling than that of the Gears series. But in terms of gameplay, you can't beat the fun of bashing peoples' heads in, snapping to cover, and chainsawing a guy in half that Gears offers. For online, I found the competitive modes in both games to be very full. And while Gears 2 did offer horde mode on all maps, I found the objective based class-style 8 player co-op of Resistance 2 to be a real blast.
