Hawkwind Tribute Part 23 The Grande Finale "Sonic Attack" & "Brainstorm"

Celebrating Hawkwind's 40th anniversary at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood on Friday April 17th 2009, friends and Hawkfans gathered together for a Space Ritual. These amazing musicians brought this event to an incredible climax: Special guest star, Mick Farren of The Pink Faeries and The Deviants recites "Sonic Attack", Ed Mundell of Monster Magnet, Mario Lalli of Fatso Jetson & Brant Bjork from Kyuss and Fu-Manchu on guitars, Scott Carlson of Cathedral on bass, Tommy Grenas (your host) of Farflung on synth and space sounds, Cathy Cooper of Touch Candy on vocals, Ruben Romano of The Freeks and from Fu Manchu & Nebula on drums and Vince Meghrouni of Fatso Jetson on sax. We can't imagine a better group of people to summon the spirit of the greatest spacerock band on planet earth!
