This version is the first prototype that I designed, but I'm designing the second version with automatic gearbox two speeds and other performance changes.

i know, this car is one of the four members of the LEGO Legendary Cars but i think this is the most old looking and non-fashionable one. (others are 8448,8458 and 8466) When both of them appeared they brought something new to the customers and to the LEGO world. Every fan know what i mean.

i av this model n i want 2 say that this is magnificent .it took me approx 1 day 2 complete it but the outcome was amazing.no other model could compare to it and it has so many functions that i was like OMG.LEGO should make one with more function probably with more pieces in the 2012.

well, the model is very heavy though...

the only thing I was able to do is to make it go veeeery slow :) what gave me no satisfaction at all :)

My problem with two speed gearbox is that I have only one remote and one receiver (so far ;) so I can not do the car with that gearbox to drive and steer simultaneously.

Anyway, thanks for help.

can you advice what gears configuration did you use to transfer the force from the engine to the differential box? I can not spot it in the movie.

I was trying many combinations and I've broke few gears (especially small ones) when I wanted the car to go with the same speed that yours.

man i am trying to make this with my parts that i had saved for some years now but it to many parts and i am missing some.
