How To Get Valve Gift Grab 2011 Achievement - The Steam Great Gift Pile 2011 for Left 4 Dead 2

A tutorial for getting the Valve Gift Grab 2011 Achievement for Left 4 Dead 2
Instructions version:
1. First thing you do is download this:

2. Install by unzipping and placing "official and custom mutations.vpk" into "Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons folder"
3. Start L4D2, Select all Mutations
4. Versus Mutations
5. Versus Co-op
6. Pick the default map that is there, and create a lobby
7. Edit game settings to local server (You will now do it all by yourself with all bots, you can still pick up presents and they will count even though your solo)
8. Clear the hallway and camp the stairway for special infected to spawn
9. Get Achievement

I worked out a way to get this achievement in 2012...just change the date on your PC back to any date in 2011 and follow this video...simples!

Is it still possible to do this or was it a christmas only event... I really hate having acheivements as impossible to do because I missed the deadline because of work or other important stuff. Oh well.
